CHEYENNE, WY –March 7, 2024: Cheyenne Frontier Days™ (CFD) announced the 2024 Frontier Nights® entertainment series this evening.
Concert tickets will go on saleMarch 14at 9:00 a.m. MDT at www.cfdrodeo.com.
The Cheyenne Frontier Days Ticket Office will not be open for in-person or phone sales on March 14. Tickets will be sold online only that day to accommodate purchase volume.
The ticket office will re-open for in-person and phone sales at 9:00 a.m. MDT on March 15.

A $3 discount is offered on rodeo tickets and $5 discount on concert tickets purchased before July 1.

I saw “The Lion King (2019)” movie tonight by Disney Film Studios and it is an epic film. The opening night 7:15 p.m. movie was sold out at the Capitol Cinema + ARQ Theater, and I felt compelled to write a review. I saw the movie in 2D and I hope to see the movie in 3D and later in ARQ. Yes, it was that good.
You will ugly cry and you will laugh, you will ‘Feel the Love Tonight,’ you will be awed by the story and scenery, and you will feel inspired to be someone special by the time you leave the film.

‘The Lion King (2019)’ is almost identical to the original animated film that was released in 1994. The 1994 animated version was directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff. I have always been a big fan of the original. I saw it when I was a senior in high school.
The screenplay writers for “The Lion King (2019)” are Jeff Nathanson and Brenda Chapman. The 1994 version screenplay writers were Irene Mecchi, Jonathan Roberts and Linda Woolverton that “The Lion King (2019)” is based on, Now “The Lion King (2019)” is larger than life with CGI animation.
The new soundtrack is mostly remakes of the original songs by composer Elton John and Tim Rice, lyricist, and score by Hans Zimmer but it also features Beyonce Nowles-Carter, who also is the voice of Nala. The soundtrack is what really adds that same magic Disney touch to the film. There are even a few new tunes.
The cast is amazing and of course, James Earls Jones, is still the voice actor who gives life to the King Mufasa. This iconic movie wouldn’t be the same without Jones. The cast includes the voice talents of Donald Glover as Simba, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogan as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, John Oliver as Zazu the loyal royal bird and John Kani as Rafiki.
Even though there are still those parts in the film, the sad ones, and you know what parts I’m talking about, it’s still a film I would feel comfortable bringing kids to. I brought my seven-year-old daughter and she loved it. The film, I feel is correctly rated PG. If you come out of the theater at a night showing like I did, you will want to look up at the stars, like I did, and you may find yourself wondering about ‘The Circle of Life.’
