Under a clear night sky and full moon without Wyoming wind, Lady Antebellum returned to Cheyenne Frontier Days tonight to kick off The Daddy of ‘Em All. They performed at CFD a few years ago.
This year they sang hit after hit as fans sang along with them and hung onto their lyrics. Lady A consists of members Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood, They sang “American Honey,” “Bartender,” “Run to You” and so many more. The show even featured a few surprises!

Opener Kelsea Ballerini sang Deana Carter’s “Strawberry Wine” with Scott heading up the vocals. Lady A !threw in covers of Tom Petty and The Eagles.
At their CFD show tonight Scott mentioned a new Lady A album will be out in the future and that they were wrapping it up in the studio earlier in the day before flying out to Cheyenne! At one point in the show Kelley hopped off the stage, with help, and ran through the crowd, high fiving fans, and singing from one end of the party zone to the other!
Lady A introduced their band close to the end of the show as each band member showcased their talents. Haywood, also played the guitar and piano off and on during the concert showcasing his fantastic musicality and vocals!
They did an encore with “Need You Now” and another surprise song! They were amazing! The crowd loved them!
You can read an exclusive interview in The Cheyenne Post that I did with Charles Kelley that can out today in print! http://thecheyennepost.com
I also freelance for The Cheyenne Post now as of last week! So does my photographer and writer, Sheila Loney. We both have had front page stories in The Cheyenne Post!
